The United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, in partnership with the Roger Williams University School of Law, and the Rhode Island Chapter of the Federal Bar Association proudly launched its new educational initiative entitled, "Litigation Academy." The first installment offered was an intensive, two-day program on deposition skills with CLE credits. It was held at the United States Courthouse in Providence on November 13-14, 2014, and Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol on November 15, 2014. The program provided a unique opportunity for participants to hone their deposition skills with constructive critiques by judges and experienced trial lawyers, and professional actors served as witnesses.
