The public may view Zoom video hearings in civil and select criminal cases at the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island by:

1. Going to www.zoomgov.com; 
2. Clicking on “Join a Meeting”;
3. Entering the Meeting ID for session that you wish to attend;
4. Entering the Password for the session that you wish to attend.

(Note: The public may also attend by phone only by dialing 833-568-8864, and then entering the Zoom Meeting ID and Password for the hearing when prompted.)

When you join the hearing, Court personnel will turn off your video and audio.  We ask that your video and audio stay off for the duration of the hearing as only case participants need to be seen and heard by the Court.  Failure to comply with these provisions may result in you being removed from the video hearing.

Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings.  LR Gen 112 & Fed. R. Crim. P. 53.   Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the court.
