The United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, in partnership with the Roger Williams University School of Law and the Rhode Island Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, held the fourth installment of its Litigation Academy on May 2-6, 2016, at the United States Courthouse in Providence. The Program provided participants with an opportunity to hone their skills in opening statements and closing arguments in the actual setting of a federal courtroom, using exhibits and facts in a mock trial setting with constructive critiques from judges, experienced trial lawyers and professional actors service as jurors and CLE credits.
