Neale D. Murphy (March 20, 1904 - May 9, 2003)

He was secretary to the Rhode Island Governor Theodore Francis Green.
Appointed as United States Marshal by President Franklin D. Roosevelt for the District of Rhode Island on May 9, 1938 and July 3, 1942.
Appointed as United States Marshal by President Harry S. Truman for the District of Rhode Island on July 25, 1946 to June 16, 1947.
Served as Clerk of Court for the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island from June 16, 1947 to August 1, 1970.
