The United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island revised its Criminal Justice Act Plan (“CJA Plan”) on April 5, 2019, and the First Circuit Judicial Council approved the revised CJA Plan on May 3, 2019.  Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. §3006A(a) and the Guidelines for Administering the Criminal Justice Act and Related Statutes, the revised CJA Plan provides for representation for any person financially unable to obtain adequate private representation in the District of Rhode Island.  The revised CJA Plan can be found here.
