It has come to our attention that some vendors may have received the attached notice regarding annual renewal of their registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database. This notice should be disregarded and is considered to be an attempt to fraudulently obtain vendor information. All vendor updates should be done by vendor employees and never a third party. This will protect their banking information and other sensitive information. It is important that you remember that there is no fee associated with registration or renewal in SAM and that any request for payment should be considered fraudulent.
Please remember that SAM.gov is not affiliated with any private entity. It is a government-wide website maintained by the General Services Administration (GSA).
