At its March and September 2023 sessions, on the recommendation of the Committee on Court Administration and Case Management, the Judicial Conference approved inflationary adjustments to fees on several miscellaneous fee schedules. These changes are slated to become effective December 1, 2023. Notably, the filing fee for a new civil action will increase from $402.00 to $405.00 and the filing fee for a notice of appeal will increase from $505.00 to $605.00.  For more information pertaining to these changes, as well as other fees impacted by this change, please visit the Court’s website by clicking here or contact the Clerk’s Office at (401) 752-7200.
